Winnie's Wishes (Grants)

The Louisburg Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (LES PTO) offers grant funding to support the needs of the Louisburg elementary school community. Applications are welcome from students, staff, parents, and community members. All requests should align with the PTO’s mission to support the students, teachers, and families involved in the education of children attending Louisburg Elementary school/s.

Grant Guidelines: To support our students and staff, the LES PTO offers grants for classroom and school-wide needs. When submitting a grant request, please ensure it meets the following criteria: 

1. Purposeful – The request should have a clear and specific goal that supports learning or enhances the school experience.
2. Student-Focused – Grants must directly address a need within the Louisburg Elementary School community and benefit a significant number of students.
3. Unfunded Elsewhere – Requests should be for items or resources that are not already covered by district funds, the school budget, existing grants, or parent contributions.
4. Principal Approval Required – All requests must be reviewed and approved by the school principal before being submitted to the PTO.
5. Not Curriculum-Based – Curriculum materials, supportive curriculum materials, or curriculum programs are not eligible for PTO grant funding.
6. Think Wishlist Items – We encourage requests for items that enhance classroom or student experience. Think “Amazon Wishlist” style needs.
